A Prayer for the Victims of Orlando Massacre (50 dead and 53 injured)

Heavenly Father hear us at this time of unbearable pain. We come to You because You are our Savior and It is only You that can heal our wounds and ease our pain, especially of those crying families of those died in this massacre.

Please comfort our citizens at this time of trial and crisis. Shield our wonderful Nation under the shadow of Your Cross. Bestow solace and strength to the families of the innocent victims of the barbaric acts of violence. Work through the doctors, nurses, and emergency crews helping those injured and their families. We also pray for the emergency responders, the local and federal law enforcement personnel, and the government officials responded to assist the Victims.

Help us to comprehend that we are all brothers and sisters created in your image and likeness. Guide us to live in harmony with one another, respectful of each other’s human rights and human dignity. We ask this of you; for You are a benevolent and loving God and to You do we ascribe glory, to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
