A Great Procession in Vienna regarding the situation in Montenegro

The procession was led by His Grace Bishop Andrej of Austria and Switzerland and followed by the clergy of Vienna.
On Sunday of Orthodoxy, 8 March 2020 in Vienna a procession in support to the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro was held. In the procession, icons were carried, according to the ancient custom that on this feast day, when the victory of Orthodoxy over iconoclasm and all heresy was declared. Believers gathered at Schwarzenbergplaz, from where they went with songs conveying joy through the city streets until Heldenplatz, where some of the most significant institutions in Austria are located.
The procession was led by His Grace Bishop Andrej of Austria and Switzerland and accompanied by the clergy of Vienna. At Heldenplatz a prayer of supplication for the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro was held, the appeal sent to the Austrian public and authorities was read, while Bishop Andrej talked about the situation in Montenegro and the efforts that are being done by the Diocese of Austria-Switzerland in order to help the threatened brothers and the sanctities. According to estimates, about 4,000 believers participated in the procession.
