
“Where are you, Adam?” Orthodox Christian Film Premiere Held at the Splendid Palace in Riga

Riga-Latvia: An Orthodox Christian movie titled “Where are you, Adam?” was premiered at the Splendid Palace theatre in the Latvian capital city of Riga on the 17trh of September 2021.
The premiere was attended by representatives of the traditional Christian confessions of Latvia namely, Archbishop Janis Vanags, the head of the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church, representatives of the Roman Catholic Church in Latvia and the Old Believer community of Riga, Archpriest Oleg Pelevin, the secretary of the Synod of the Latvian Orthodox Church, Hegumen Makarii (Kirillov), the abbot of the Jekabpils Holy Spiritual Monastery, film critic Daira Abolina, teachers and students of the Riga Theological Seminary, parishioners of churches and parishes of the LOC and the public.
Protodeacon Alexander Pliska, the producer of the film from Ukraine provided a briefing on the cinema. Protodeacon Alexander was decorated with a high award from the Latvian Church at the end of the premiere.
