Archbishop Ieronymos Thanks Hungarian Government for the Reconstruction of Churches Desecrated in Lesbos

Athens-Greece: In a recent meeting with Miklós Soltész, the state secretary at the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Office, Archbishop Ieronymos, Primate of the Church of Greece thanked the Hungarian govt for the support provided for the reconstruction of the Churches in Lesbos. Many Churches on the island were either destroyed or desecrated by Muslim migrants.

Two parties also spoke about the Greek diaspora in Hungary and the efforts taken by the Hungarian government in protecting their rights.
