Gud work OCP, but we need to inform you that a team under Bishop Dioscorus has been working in Sri Lanka, in respect to this matter from last May 2015. Moreover, from last 2 years, contact is being established. The result is Bishop Dioscorus is celebrating Holy Qurbana God willingly on Sept. 15. In Colombo. People from Brahmavar Community are also joining that historic event. This much has already been done by that team’s hardwork. So, again other team working on the same field, will it not create unnecessary chaos and confusion. So, let only one team work….after all this it is not for publicity….its for the respect of Bishop Alvares and Faithful of Bishop Alvares time…..with prayerful regards Fr. Noel and Fr. Abraham, Brahmavar.
good work OCP. Fr. Noel why are you making these types of comments. I feel pity on you. For the last 2 years what you people done in Sri Lanka or what contact u made till May 2015? You were not aware of these details till Ajesh T. publish all these in his research site. And what is the use of conducting holy qurbana there. According to orthodox faith holy liturgy should be done only if there is atleast a single person who is in orthodox faith there. But according to my understanding there is not even a single orthodox person at that place. One more thing what is the role of Brahmwar community in this area. This is purely under the diocese of Madras. and LL Alwaris didnt have any connection with this Anglican community. Its purely connected with LL Alexious Mor Theodosius.
Well, Sri Lankan connection was not something published by Ajessh (with whom we are in good contact, and is a good friend of us. We have shared lot of details with him), it was on record from long time. I have not done anything there. I was rather talking about the team working under Madras Diocese. They have been working hard, out of their own pockets, to find something going there, from last May 2015. It was not published. Bcoz unnecessary publicity can hamper the work there. We don’t want unnecessary confusion in the work there. After May visit, though things were fine, in between there arose some problems bcoz of misunderstanding. So, if everyone jumps into the same pond, there will be too much mud. So, its necessary that, everyone understands in a matured manner. And last that ng, who said there are no Orthodox Faithful, there are, with whom we are in contact for last 2 yrs and they hav been our local guides and support. Moreover, the people from the Community of Alvares Thirumeni are also joining Holy Qurbana. We are not against OCP, we love their work, we read their articles. But, a maturity in certain times is essential, when we are entering unknown territories, where only trust and faith can be built, only if we behave and remain so.
Fr.Noel, I was in Colombo from 2010 Feb 21 to 2014 Oct 20.I am very much familiar with
these places.
My question is can u give any proof of your contact
with these two communities for the last 2 years? Your mission started only on
May 2015 when a guy from madras diocese visited that place. You got the initial
trigger from MARP articles only. You can check marp articles for the dates of
publishing them.
When I talked with OCP authorities I could
understand the following things. They found out these unknown parishes and
institutions. So the courtesy of your work goes automatically to OCP. OCP don’t
have any agenda of any mission there.
They just published it on academic basis and not for any publicity. And they don’t
have any hidden agenda. That means you
and OCP are travelling in different routes. So “everyone
jumps not into the same pond”. Then
why you people are very much worried? Just bcos of some egos.
everyone understands in a matured manner.//// You too must respond in a matured manner bcos you
are a priest and more over u started the
game publically.
I repeat this Anglican community never had any
connection with LL Alvaris.
the people
from the Community of Alvares Thirumeni are also joining Holy Qurbana./// are
they orthodox? No, then what is the use of celebrating a holy liturgy there? In
nutshell you are degrading the holy liturgy. We can revamp the connection with
them. That’s a good initiative but celebrating divine liturgy at place where
there is no orthodox faithful is utter foolishness and is against our faith
Well Jino, i should mention that regarding Bishop Alvares Mission in Ceylon, there are numerous sources in Goa and Brahmavar, and also some documents with certain Bishops also.
In brahmavar, we have numerous books, written by brahmavar priests, on history of brahmavar mission which do include references to Ceylon mission, from the time of Bishop Alvares. they are either in Kannada or konkani.
you said the unknown parishes and institutions were found by OCP. that;s not true. To prove it, here a link to a web article published in 2013, quite before OCP, which clearly lists ‘Our Lady of Good Death’ church in Ceylon.

you should know, that many of our present priests (especially Fr. David and Fr. Abraham) have supplied tons of information to various people. and many of people have written books, published articles on web, did their own research etc..
OCP, has of course, bought these sources, to Orthodox readers. And probably you read it here first. But that does not mean they are they first people to report
The team from Madras Diocese, who are doing research have their own resources, and not OCP..
And of course, we have proofs of communication, from last 2 yrs. I don’t know about you, but there are Orthodox faithful of our Church in Sri Lanka.
And regarding celebration of Holy Qurbana, i don’t think you are wiser and authoritative than a Bishop and the accompanying Priests.
there are numerous sources in Goa and
Brahmavar, and also some documents with certain Bishops also./// Again
Fr. Noel is talking indifferently. Who said there is no documents regarding
this. According to my understanding its OCP visited these parishes after a long
gap from Malankara to these areas ie on 5th Dec 2013.
The team from Madras Diocese, who are doing
research have their own resources,//// what is the source of these
research and what they found out? Any outcome so far from their research?
we have proofs of communication, from last
2 yrs/// Can u show any proof before the OCP dates?
i don’t think you are wiser and authoritative than a Bishop?///// Am not above madras diocese bishop and just
understand Madras bishop is just junior to Mumbai Bishop.
I can
understand your frustration but I don’t want
to debate more. I just pray to God to illuminate you and guide you with holy
spirit; bcos now the spirit acting on you is not at all divine.
my only point from beginning is let only one team work at a time on research…. whether it be OCP or Madras team…… bcoz on Sept. 4, both teams were present in colombo…. it felt as some sort of competition was going on, who will reach first… But, this thing will be taken in negative manner, among whom we will work, because they are in confusion on what is happenning. I will not doubt, if they start to believe there is some sort of hidden agenda (which no one has), and literally close the doors of any research forever………. And as far as Brahmavar people are concerned, they are happy that OCP and Madras, and many more other researchers are doing good job, because of which Bishop Alvares name is getting highlighted…that’s what we want. We want OCP to continue doing research, we want Madras team to do research…… only praying no confusion be created…..
And last word Jino….. I am not Pathetic, Egoistic, or filled with Evil Spirit…..no one who knows me will ever talk like this….
For us, OCP is same, Madras Team also same…..
jino eldo is it u r real name or ajeesh..what ever might be…i just want to clarify you that from many years we are in touch with colombo.like u visited we could put photos earlier bec we were there earlier we did not put even one photo why bec there are many reason…what u ppl have is a photo of that church..but we have our faithful Sinhala people in touch .for many years.even today we are in touch.more over our own Malayalies are working for us.they belong to our own church from last 3 years…if you dont have any toubch with them what can we do..and also we have all records original from baptism to funeral all real books .this we got years back.u say one church we say we are in contact with more than 15 church with list and priest..so pls dont say anything without knowing…we did not even publish bec we have a dream.regards fr abraham
we have the prof that you ppl cant imagine …..before u comment pls do it right way..or else we have to move in another way
they belong to our own church from last 3 years.///// This is enough for me to understand you people. Thanks… God bless.
Dear Fr Abraham Kuriakose and Mr Jino, I would not like to interfere your worthless discussion. Please leave me… I don’t want to use a fake Id to talk with you or Fr. Noel or any one.
