Global: ‘Letters from Syria’ and Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II are featured in the new OCP Pan-Orthodox Publication titled ‘Collected Writings on Orthodox Christianity – Various Aspects of Eastern and Oriental Orthodox Churches’.
Letters from Syria has been written by Metropolitan Eusthathios Matta Roham with Contributions from Metropolitan Mor Selwanos Boutros Alnemeh, Metropolitan Mor Timotheos Matta Alkhouri, Fr. Zakka Jalma and Fr. Joseph Bali of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch and All East. These are a collection of letters on the sad conditions of Christians during the Syrian Uprising.
The chapter on His Holiness Ignatius Aphrem II has been written by Chor-bishop Dr. Kyrakose Thottupuram of Chicago the Chancellor of OCP Society. The Chapter is titled ‘Patriarch Ignatius Ephraim II as the new bright star in the Eastern Horizon’.
OCP Publications released the book on 14th November 2014. The book consists of thirty independent chapters by various authors. Majority of them have been written by George Alexander – Secretary of OCP Society. Rest of them have been contributed by different authors.
