Beirut: Syrian President Bashar Al- Assad received the new Patriarch Ignatius Ignatius Aphrem II Karim of Anthioch and All East who is elected as the head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church.
A high level delegation form the Syriac Orthodox Church accompanied the Patriarch to meat the Syrian leader.
