Islamabad: The Prelates of Russian Orthodox Church Eastern and Coptic Orthodox Churches  met in Islamabad Pakistan. The Russian Orthodox Church prelates lead by Fr Adrian paved an official visit to the residence of Fr Abuna Bishoy who is the head of the Coptic Orthodox Mission Church in Pakistan. The Russian delegation consisted of Fr Adrian Vishal, Fr Cyril Amer, Fr Joseph Rocpk . Fr Bishoy and his family gave a warm reception the Russian Priests. Discussions were made on several topics. Gifts were exchanged and the meeting culminated with homely refreshments. The Russian delegation thanked Abuna Bishoy for the homely and warm welcome and in return Fr Abuna Bishoy expressed his gratitude for the visit.

The visit was as part of boosting ties between both families of Orthodox Churches. Orthodox Churches have growing mission in Pakistan. At preset there are there Orthodox Churches namely the Russian, Coptic and Greek Orthodox Churches. Large number of Muslims, Roman Catholics and Protestants have made their journey to Orthodoxy through the missionary activities of these communities.
