Kerala: Fr Boby Varghese, the Director of Mar Baselius School of Icon Writing & Liturgy of the Indian Malankara Orthodox Church joins St Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, Crestwood, New York for his Master degree studies. He intends to do more specialized studies in Orthodox theology and Iconography.

Fr Boby is director of the first ever icon Writing School of the Indian Malankara Orthodox Church. The Icon Writing School is based at the Kandand East Diocesan headquarters of the Indian Church.

Fr Boby aims at developing Indian styled Icons and has already started working on the same. He has already written the Indian styled icons of St Peter and St Paul. Fr Boby thanked Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE Executive council for all their necessary, support, motivation and timely introduction to the Seminary.
