OCP Chairman Meets Dr Dimitri

Indian/Kerala: Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE Chairman Mr. K C Jacob was fortunate to meet Dr. Dimitri on 29th of August 2012. Dr. Dimitri is on a personal visit to the Kerala State in India. He is converting to Russian Orthodox Church and works as a neurosurgeon in Moscow. He hails from Ivanovo,  which is city and the administrative center of Ivanovo Oblast, Russia, located 209 kilometers (130 mi) from Moscow. The main purpose of the visit was to have a brief interview with Dr. Dimitri and to know more about his journey to Orthodoxy. Dr. Dimitri cordially welcomed K C Jacob and provided with all necessary information.

Dr. Dimitri was presented with the Icons of Holy Theotokos. St. Mortha Shumini and St. Mortha Luthi as well with the icon of St Gregorius of India, the first canonized Indian Saint.
