$95 Million Raised for the Reconstruction of the Saint Nicholas National Shrine

New York – USA: The fund-raising program for the reconstruction of the Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and National Shrine has reached an amount of $55 million raised since January 2020, reports the Greek Archdiocese of America portal.  The total fundraising raising reached an amount of $95 million. An amount of $8.5 million was raised during the past two months alone.

The original Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church was the only house of worship at the World Trade Center. It was completely destroyed during the September 2011 terror attack. The National Shrine will replace the historic Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church upon its completion.
