His Beatitude the Catholicos Aboon Mor Baselios Thomas I, the Metropolitan  Trustee & head of the Malankara Jacobite Syriac Orthodox Church inaugurated the  Public meeting of Pilgrims (Theerthadaka sangamam) held at the premises of the Monastery Cahtedral.

Thousands of pligrims from different part of the world took part in Divine Liturgy and worhsip ceremonies. His Eminence Abune Mor Theophilose George Saliba (Universal Syriac Church Episcopal Synod Secretray and the Arch Bishop of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli), His Eminence Abun Mor Philaxinos Mathiyas Nayis (Arch Bishop of Germany) His Eminence Abun Mor Nicodimos David Matti Sharraf (Archbishop of Mosul, Iraq) His Eminence Abun Mor Yackoub Edwardo (Arch Bishop of Guatemala) His Eminence Abun Mor Themothevos Matta Alkhoury (First Secretary of Holy Father), and His Eminence Abun Mor Themothevos Matthew (Secretary of Holy Father for Indian Affairs) were present for the blessed ocassion as Patriarchal delegates.
