Global: We are pleased to present the Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE (OCP) Society’s Annual Activity Report for the year 2025. This year has been defined by the pursuit of a global Orthodox witness, academic advancement, and a period of deep reflection as we honor the legacy of our foundations.

Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE is a Pan-Orthodox Christian Society founded in 2007 and established under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act, 1955. Registration No: A.455/2010.

In Memoriam: Rev. Fr. Thomas Geevarghese

The OCP Society records with profound grief the repose of our beloved founding member, Rev. Fr. Thomas Geevarghese, on October 8, 2025.

As we publish this 2025 Annual Report, we pay special tribute to Fr. Thomas, whose visionary leadership and dedicated service were instrumental in the very birth of this Society. A true pillar of Pan-Orthodox unity, his contributions provided the spiritual and intellectual depth that helped OCP navigate its foundational years. His unwavering commitment to “Seeking United Orthodox Christian Witness” remains our guiding light. The Society remains forever indebted to his wisdom and humility. May his memory be eternal.

Meetings and Visits

Official Delegation to Russia (July 14–21, 2025):
OCP Secretary Donn George Varghese visited Russia in his official capacity as a Consultant to the Ecumenical Department of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church.

During this high-level visit, the Secretary participated in bilateral dialogues and was received by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’.

Academics: Center for Orthodox Studies (COS)

The Center for Orthodox Studies reached a significant milestone in its educational mission this year:

The Orthodox Epignosis: We are pleased to announce the successful completion of Level 02 of this premier certification course. Under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Dr. Jossi Jacob, the program continues to set high standards for Pan-Orthodox lay education and academic research.

Media, Journalism, and Social Action

Ongoing Advocacy: OCP remained actively engaged in monitoring and reporting on humanitarian crises in Ethiopia, Artsakh, Armenia, and Jerusalem, utilizing its media platforms to raise awareness about persecuted Christian communities.

Digital Expansion: The Society experienced increased engagement across Instagram, Threads, and YouTube, reaching a broader demographic of faithful committed to conciliar Orthodox unity.

The OCP Media Network expanded its documentary outreach through exclusive features produced by Pappaianni, offering rare glimpses into Orthodox heritage for a global audience:

The Armenian Church in Chennai, India: A documentary feature exploring the historic and cultural footprint of the Armenian community in South India.

Serbian Monastery of St. Sava, Buenos Aires, Argentina: A unique look into the life and liturgical mission of the Serbian Orthodox Church in South America.

The OCP Society Leadership

General Body 2025:
The OCP General Body convened in May 2025 to review the Society’s progress and ratify strategic goals for the future, ensuring sustained momentum in its Pan-Orthodox mission
