Catholicos Pledges Continued Aid as Armenian Church Grapples with Artsakh Crisis

Yerevan-Armenia: His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, met with members of the Artsakh Diocese Council, led by Primate Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin on April 05,2024.

The discussions centered on the well-being of the people of Artsakh, a region recently embroiled in conflict with Azerbaijan. The Church leaders addressed social, moral, and psychological issues faced by the population. They also reviewed support programs currently offered by the Armenian Apostolic Church.
