Azerbaijani Authorities Remove Cross From the Spitak Khach Armenian Orthodox Church

Baku-Azerbaijan: The Azerbaijani government authorities have vandalised yet another Armenian Orthodox Church in the country, reports Public Radio of Armenia. They have removed the cross from the top of the Spitak Khach (White Cross) Church located in Vank in the Hadrut region. It was removed for ‘renovation’ purposes according to the official explanation.

This is considered yet another attempt by the Azerbaijan authorities to destroy Armenian cultural monuments in the region.
