Moscow- Russia: Archimandrite Philaret (Tikhonov) was consecrated as the Bishop of Kolpashevsky and Strezhevsky (Kolpashevo diocese) at the Church of Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duke Vladimir in Tushino (Pokrovsky-Streshnevo), Moscow on March 31,2024. His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ led the consecration with members of Holy Synod.

Archimandrite Philaret (Tikhonov) was elected by the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on March 12,2024.

Bishop Philaret of Kolpashevsky and Strezhevsky was born on on February 24, 1981 in Dmitrov, Moscow region
