His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II and His Beatitude Syriac Catholic Patriarch Mor Ignatius Youssef III Younan visited His Beatitude Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rai, Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and All the East at his residence in Bkerke.
Their Eminences Mor Theophilos George Saliba, Archbishop of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli, Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Secretary, and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director accompanied His Holiness.
His Beatitude Mor Ignatius Youssef III was accompanied by His Excellency Mor Aphrem Youssef Aba, Archbishop of Baghdad, and Rev. Fr. Habib Mrad, Patriarchal Secretary.
His Holiness and their Beatitudes discussed recent developments in the political situation in Lebanon.
