UPDATE ON METROPOLITAN CONSTANTINE’S HEALTH

We are very happy to inform our clergy, faithful and friends that Metropolitan Constantine continues to recuperate following his recent surgery. The surgery proved to be a bit more extensive than expected resulting in a more extensive recovery. During this period a touch of pneumonia settled in and the Metropolitan has had to remain in hospital until it clears completely. He was placed in a critical care unit to ensure that his oxygen levels were kept at proper levels. Both Archbishop Antony and Bishop Daniel visited the Metropolitan during the past week following their visits to the Church School and Teenage Conference encampments at All Saints Camp.

The Metropolitan will be going home soon, once he is completely mobile. We ask all our clergy and faithful to keep him in their prayers – particularly in a Moleben service following Divine Liturgy this Sunday. As we read in the Epistle of St. James: “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick and the Lord shall raise him up…” (Chapter 5, verse 15).
