UOC Primate Met with Ambassador of the USA to Ukraine

On September 1, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church received at his residence at the Kyiv Caves Monastery Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the USA to Ukraine Mr. John F. Tefft.

In the course of conversation the high guest asked questions about today’s life of the Orthodoxy in Ukraine, about relations of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church with other orthodox and non-orthodox jurisdictions, since this theme is interesting not only for the Ambassador  but for the citizens of the USA as well.

Besides, Mr. John Tefft told His Beatitude about the architecture exhibition of Chicago that opened at his residence.   Peculiarity of this exhibition was that a part of its exposition was dedicated to the architecture of the orthodox churches of Chicago.  Also the perspectives of carrying out joint projects of the Ukrainian and American Orthodox Churches were discussed.
