UOC Primate conferred church distinction on the rector of the church where the honorable hand of St. Dimitry of Rostov is kept

On November 11 His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr received the rector of St. Michael the Archangel in the village of Polonky, Chernihiv region, archpriest Volodymyr Khvost.

For the work in the church filed Metropolitan Volodymyr marked father rector with the Order of the Holy Hierarch Dimitry (Tuptalo), Metropolitan of Rostov.

In the conversation Fr. Volodymyr gave the Archpastor the icon of the Holy Hierarch Dimitry of Rostov with a piece of relics as a present.

Note that the honorable hand of the Holy Hierarch Dimitry of Rostov stays permanently in the church of St. Michael the Archangel and yesterday, November 10 it was carried to the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra for the believers’ veneration.
