Ukrainian Orthodox Parishes Continue to Provide Care to Children with Cancer

Kyiv- Ukraine: On February 15, 2021, on the feast of the Presentation of the Lord and the World Day of the Children affected by Cancer, with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy, several parishes of the UOC extended their help and support to needy cancer patients. Support has been offered to the patients, especially in the Rivne Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, where for several years the clergy and the faithful have donated blood for the sick.
“Street Candle” is a voluntary fundraiser for the treatment of children with cancer. “Help a child with cancer” will take place on February 21, 2021, which will be a charity concert of Ukrainian folk songs at the Silver Island Theater (8 Platona Maiboroda Street).
