Ukrainian Orthodox Church Receives Permission for Construction of Resurrection Cathedral
On July 7, at the residence of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church received the Conclusions of the State expertise and the Permission for Construction of the Resurrection Cathedral of the UOC.
The documents were handed to His Beatitude Volodymyr respectively by head of the Central Service of the State Investment Expertise of Ukraine Volodymyr Ampilohov and deputy head of the Department of the State Architectural Construction Control Oleh Bushovskyy.
Expressing gratitude to the heads of the state institutions the Archpastor wished them further fruitful work and marked them with the orders of the Holy Great Martyr George the Trophy-Bearer.
According to Volodymyr Fedorovych Ampilohov, following the comprehensive expertise of the buildings of the Cathedral and its adjoining administrative-economy buildings the respective documents were issues, which marks the full-fledged and legal beginning of the construction of the Cathedral.
