The visit of the Icon of the Mother of God “Glykophilousa” to Ukraine Completes

On December 6, at the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr of Kyiv and All Ukraine, Vicar Bishop of the Kyiv Metropolis, His Grace Ilariy of Makariv celebrated the prayer service at the icon of the Mother of God “Glykophilousa”, which stayed in the Holy Protection Convent of Kyiv.
After the prayer service His Grace addressed with a word to Bishop Kirill of Pavlov Posad, who accompanied this shrine.
“The stay of this icon in the territory of the God-preserved Ukraine worked for the strengthening of the canonical Orthodoxy in our state, consolidation of the Ukrainian people around His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church’, noted His Grace Ilariy in particular.
