The Theological Seminary of Chisinau organized a conference on the topic “We have the right to live in a world without violence”

Seminary students made presentations on the phenomenon of violence, from the social, moral, psychological, and legal perspectives. Covering the theological aspect of violence were the guests: Archpriest Vasile Ciobanu, the confessor of Ialoveni church district, Archpriest Octavian Mosin, chairman of the Association of Orthodox Christian Students, and Archpriest Ioan Uglea, lecturer of the Theological Academy.
The phenomenon was covered, trying to identify solutions for outrooting it in the modern society. Examples from real life were brought, showing concrete cases when violence was overcome through faith and with the participation of the representatives of the Church. Young theology students were called to a living driven by the spirit of peace, radiating kindness, understanding, patience, and love for the neighbour.
