The Patriarch Visits the Mukhranbatoni’s Church on St. Queen Ketevan’s Day
His Holiness and Beatitude Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia went to Mukhrani to serve at the Mukhranbatoni Family Church on Holy Queen Ketevan of Kakheti. The Patriarch also visited St. Ketevan’s Church where the Holy Queen and Prince David, the elder son of King Alexander, had wedding ceremony.
His Holiness stated that the Holy Queen was a symbol of strong faith, “Holy Queen Ketevan is enlightener of the whole Georgia. She is a symbol of strong faith and devotion to the motherland. Today, we tribute and honour her great deeds”.
His Holiness blessed students of the Nikoloz Bagrationi Prince Lyceum in Mukhrani.
