Indian/Kera: Morth Mariyam Syrian Orthodox Church, Nadamel, Thripunithura was Declared as “ROYAL METROPOLITHAN CHURCH” by His Beatitude Abube Thomas I of India.
The Church of St. Mary’s was founded in the 12th Century on land donated by Valamthuruthy Bhattathiri.
Feast of intercession of St. Mary for seeds started at Morth Mariyam Royal Metroplotian Church, Nadamel on January 12, Sunday.HB Baselius Thomas Ist the Catholicose and Metropolitan Trustee of the Syriac Orthodox Church in India hoisted the flag. Metropolitan Mor Gregorios Joseph, Mor Themotheos Mathews Vicar Fr. Jacob, Very Rev. Thomas Kandathil Chorbishop, Fr. Sebu Paul Vendrappillil, Fr. Darly Edappangattil and hundreds of faithful were present.
