The Ambassador of the Russian Federation visits the Metropolitan Residence

Metropolitan Vladimir met the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to our country, His Excellence Farid Muhametshin, discussing issues of mutual interest, especially including the role of the Orthodox Church in the process of maintaining and development of positive relations between Moldova and Russia.
The parties underlined spiritual and cultural relations that unite the two nations, pointing out that these relations should play the same unifying role in the future.
His Eminence thanked Mr. Muhametshin for sincere friendliness towards the Orthodox Church of Moldova, expressing hope that bilateral relations will continue to be edified on this mutual value.
In his turn, Mr. Muhametshin thanked His Eminence for the warm welcome, and said that the Russian Embassy in Chisinau continues to highly appreciate the Metropolis of Chisinau and All Moldova.
