Te Deum On The First Day Of The Year At The Romanian Patriarchate

According to the typicon, on the first day of the year, after the Divine Liturgy a thanksgiving service was celebrated for all the boons received last year.
The Te Deum service was celebrated at the Patriarchal Cathedral by His Grace Ieronim Sinaitul, Assistant Bishop to the Patriarch, assisted by a group of priests and deacons, in the presence of His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of Romania and of His Grace Varlaam Ploiesteanul, Assistant Bishop to the Patriarch.
In 2011, the Holy Synod decided to celebrate the Te Deum service on the first day of the year.
