Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad and his family visited the historic Christian village of Saidnaya, reports Al-Masdar News.
Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad visits Christian town of Maaloula
The visit was made on 25th of December (Western Christmas day). President Assad and his family toured the village along with the nuns of Our Lady of Saidnaya Greek Orthodox Monastery.
They conveyed warm Christmas greetings to the faithful.
