Sixteenth Enthronement Anniversary of Pope Theodore II of Alexandria

Alexandria-Egypt: The 24th of October 2020 marked the 16th enthronement anniversary of His Beatitude Theodore II – the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa.

His Beatitude was elected to the Patriarchal throne on 9th October 2004. He was enthroned at the Holy Church of the Annunciation of the Theotokos in Alexandria on 24th October 2004.

Pope Theodore II has been successful in overseeing the expansion of the missionary activities of the Alexandrian Greek Orthodox Patriarchate in various parts of Africa.
