Russian Church to launch several Online Radio Channels
Moscow, October 7, Interfax – The Moscow Patriarchate is planning to launch Orthodox radio channels.
“New programs will be regularly added, while a plethora of earlier ones could be accessed in the channels’ archives,” Russian Church spokesman Vladimir Legoyda said in an interview published in the NG-Religii newspaper on Wednesday.
Initially, programs will be broadcast on the Internet and subsequently will be made available for listeners through Internet radio receivers, he said.
Such an initiative is part of the Russian National Internet Radio Broadcasting project of the Moscow Patriarchate Information Department and Moscow City Radio Broadcasting Network, Legoyda said.
