Russia wins contest for land in Paris to build Spiritual Center There
Paris/Moscow, February 8, Interfax – Plot of land with former Paris Meteo France office is sold to Russia as the country won the contest, the France Budget Ministry has reported on Monday.
“This transaction serves the interests of many French and international investors. The state supported the highest price offer,” the Express French website cites the Ministry’s communiqué as saying. The transaction amount is not voiced.
Press secretary of the Russian Presidential Administration Viktor Khrekov told Interfax late in January that their institution participated in the contest for purchasing a lot of land in Paris for building a Russian spiritual and cultural center.
