Russia to restore Kosovo’s Orthodox Shrines

Russia will allocate 2 mln dollars to restoring Kosovo’s Orthodox shrines. An agreement in this respect was signed in UNESCO Paris headquarters today by Director General of UNESCO Irina Bokova and Russia’s permanent representative Eleonora Mitrofanova.
Four churches will be restored, including the Monastery of the Patriarchate of Pec, Visoki Decani Monastery, Gračanica Monastery and the Church of Our Lady of Ljeviš.
