Ruling Bishop of the Diocese of Odessa Gives Reception in Honor of Patriarch Kirill

On July 21 upon completion of the of the Divine service at the newly consecrated Holy Transfiguration Cathedral of Odessa, Metropolitan Agathangel of Odessa and Izmail gave solemn reception in honor of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
Attending the reception were His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr of Kyiv and All Ukraine, Chancellor of the Moscow Patriarchy Metropolitan Varsonofy of Saransk and Mordova , chairman of the DECR of the Moscow Patriarchate Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokalamsk, other archpastors, who concelebrated at the divine liturgy, heads and co-workers of the Synodal Departments of the Diocese of Odessa, representatives of the state authorities and diplomats.
In the course of the solemn arrangement His Holiness Patriarch Kirill conferred church awards to a number of philanthropists, who invested their efforts into restoration of the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral.
