Romanian Orthodox Church Warns Against ‘Ideologized’ Sex Education

Bucharest-Romania: The Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church has expressed its concerns over the recent attempts to implement mandatory sex education within the Romanian education systems, reports Basilica News Agency. The Synod also expressed its concerns over the EU Matic report on sexual and reproductive health and related rights.
The Patriarchate has once again expressed its position on the topic by stating life education should be optional and any sort of ideologized sex education will be unacceptable since it is contrary to the values of the Christian family.
