Tokyo – Japan: The Russian Olympic Committee ROC (Russian Federation) leads Orthodox Nations in Olympic medal count (2020 Summer Olympics). ROC has attained 20 gold, 28 silver and 23 bronze medals making a total of 71. ROC is followed by Serbia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece etc.

Apart from them, Ukraine, Belarus, Romania, Ethiopia, Armenia and *Finland have made it into the list. These nations have a predominant Orthodox Christian population. Other nations like Latvia, Moldova, Estonia, North Macedonia, Egypt which has a significant Orthodox population has also made gained medals.

*Finnish Orthodox Church is one of the national Churches in the county.
