Rila Monastery Is Preparing for Easter

Thousands of Bulgarian and foreign tourists will visit Rila Monastery on Easter. By tradition are expected many pilgrims from Greece, who will attend the Easter service in the monastery church. Monks and personnel have started the preparations for the holiday and the monastery complex is shining clean. At last a new parking lot for 100 cars was completed. Guests could be accommodated in Tsarev Vrah hotel ran by the monks, or in the monastery cells. Most of the 150 beds in the complex have been already booked.
The rooms have been renovated. A night stay in a double room costs 30 leva (15 euro.) For a single room guests will pay 40 leva and 25 leva for a room with three beds.
