Relics of St. John the Baptist taken to the Holy Shoghakat Monastery

On June 15, the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church commemorated the sacred feast of St. John the Baptist and St. Atanagine the Bishop, which coincides with the pilgrimage day of the Holy Shoghakat Monastery.
On this occasion, with the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the cross-reliquary of St. John the Baptist will be taken to the Holy Shoghakat Monastery from the Alex & Marie Manoogian Museum
of the Mother See. At 10:20, the procession will move to the Monastery.
At 11:00 a Divine Liturgy will be celebrated, following which a blessing of the four corners of the world (Andastan) service will be held.
