Radical Muslim Mob Attacks Greek Orthodox Church in Syria
Muslims protesters have toppled today the cross of the already ISIS ruined “St.Sergius and Bakhus greek orthodox church” in the city of Tabqa near Raqqa after the Friday prayers during the anti-France protests.

Syria: A group of radical Islamist mob stormed St. Sergius and Bacchus Greek Orthodox Church in Tabqa, a city near Raqqa in Syria on 30th Friday, 2020. The attack was in response to the alleged act of ‘Islamophobia” in France and other parts of Europe. The fanatic mob pulled down the cross to protest against France after the Friday prayers in a local mosque.
The ISIS ravaged city was once home to faithful belonging to different Christian denominations Christians. However, the advancement of ISIS. The area is presently under the control of US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces and Kurdish-led forces.
