Public Orthodoxy Features Article on ‘Tigray Crisis’ by Dr Romina Istratii

USA: Public Orthodoxy, of the Fordham University, has featured an article titled ‘Conflict in Tigray‘ by Dr Romina Istratii about the ongoing conflict in the Tigray region in Ethiopia. Dr Istratii focuses on the problems faced by Tigrayns as a result of the conflict between TPLF, the Ethiopian Federal Army and the Eritrean forces. She has given special attention to the abuse encountered by women and girls in the article.

Public Orthodoxy is a publication of the Orthodox Christian Studies Center of Fordham University.

Dr Istratii is an Honorary Research Associate to the Centre of World Christianity and the Department of Development Studies at SOAS University of London. She also serves as the Associate Researcher Editor at the Center for Orthodox Studies (COS), an autonomous entity of the Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE Society
