Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was Operated
Moscow, September 20, Interfax – Metropolitan Vladimir of Kiev and All Ukraine has injured his leg (neck of the femur broken).
“He was operated on the same day, the operation was successful. During rehabilitation period the UOC primate will conduct divine services and pray in residential St. Nicholas Church and work and receive visitors in his residence in Kiev Laura of the Caves,” the Moscow Patriarchate reports at its website citing UOC press service.
The Ukrainian Church has urged the believers “to pray for good health and soonest recovery of His Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir of Kiev and All Ukraine.”
