Primate of Serbian Orthodox Church prays at the residence of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill
On 16 July 2013, His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia visited the Patriarchal and Synodal residence in St. Daniel’s monastery.
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill welcomed him, and both Primates went to the Church of All Saints Who Shone forth in the Land of Russia. His Holiness Patriarch Irinej celebrated thanksgiving; His Holiness Patriarch Kirill prayed in the sanctuary.
After the prayer service, the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church greeted His Holiness Patriarch Irinej. In his response, the Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church thanked His Holiness Kirill for his kind words and expressed his great joy over an opportunity to visit Russia and venerate the holy sites of the Russian Orthodox Church.
On behalf of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Serbian people he thanked the Russian Orthodox Church for her assistance to Serbia in the past and at the recent time.
The primates had a talk in the Throne Hall of the residence.
