Damascus -Syria: Russian President Vladimir Putin and Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad visited the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and all the East in Damascus on 7th January 2020. The leaders were warmly received by Patriarch John X at the St. Mary’s Orthodox Cathedral. A prayer for peace was held at the Cathedral.
