Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria visits Ethiopia

Addis Ababa: His Holiness Tawadors II of Alexandria on the Throne of St Mark the Evangelist is in Ethiopia for a four-day official visit. The Primate of the Coptic Orthodox Church is accompanied by a high-level  delegation from Egypt.

Pope Tawadros II will hold high-level talks with His Holiness Abune Mathias – Patriarch of All Ethiopia and government officials. Bi-lateral relations are on the agenda. The Coptic Pope will also visit many churches and monasteries and will also take part in the Celebrations of the Veneration of Holy Cross in the capital City of Addis Ababa.
