“People’s Representatives Should Commit to Social Justice” – Catholicos-Mooppan Marthoma Paulose II

Kottayam-Kerala-India: His Holiness Marthoma Paulose II (Catholicos-Mooppan, and Malankara Metropolitan) stated that “the elected representatives of the people should remain honest and should invariably act with a sense of duty without intentional discrimination and commit to act on the side of social justice without discrimination”, reports Catholicate News.
The Catholicos also stated that the elected representatives should consistently express the conscious mentality to love and to be loved beyond caste and religion. The Primate of the Malankara Church spoke during a program that was held at Catholicate Palace to honour the winners of the local self-government elections.
His Holiness Marthoma Paulos II is the reigning Catholicos-Mooppan and Malankara Metropolitan on the Apostolic Throne of St. Thomas of the Malankara Church. He is the chief custodian of the Malankara Nazranieth and head of the Malankara Nasranis.
