Delhi-India: The 2019 Dr. Paulos Mar Gregorios Award 2019, was presented to Smt. Aruna Roy and the MKSS (MAZDOOR KISAN SHAKTI SANGATHAN) for their Outstanding Contributions in the field of  Community and Human Renewal. The award was presented by Shri Pranab Mukherjee (Former President of India). The award was presented in a grand ceremony that took place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on 28th July 2019.

The Award was presented in the presence His Holiness Baselios Marthoma Paulose II  (Catholicos on the Apostolic Throne of St. Thomas and Malankara Metropolitan),  Metropolitan Youhanon Mar Demetrios (Metropolitan of Delhi) Dr. Shashi Tharoor, (Hon’ble MP of Thiruvananthapuram) and many other dignitaries.
