Patriarch Kirill Consecrates the Kazan Cathedral After Reconstruction

Kazan-Russia: Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia Consecrated Our Lady of Kazan Cathedral of the appearance of the icon of the Most Holy Theotokos in the city of Kazan (1579). The consecration was held on 21st July 2021. President Vladimir Putin conveyed his wishes on the occasion. The Cathedral belongs to the Tatarstan Metropolitanate of the Russian Church.
Around 7,000 faithful, a large number of bishops, priests, ecumenical and interfaith delegations attend the consecration ceremony.
