Patriarch John X: Importance of co-living as family and adherence to homeland

Tartous, (SANA) – Patriarch John X Yazigi, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East expressed his confidence that all the Syrian people will overcome the crisis.
During the inauguration of Transfiguration Church in al-Misherfeh village in Tartous, Patriarch Yazigi stressed the importance of co-living among the Syrians and the need for abiding by the homeland by all as one family.
The Patriarch said during heading a mass in St. Paul & St. Peter Church in Matten al-Sahel village ” love is expressed with giving, forgiveness and sacrifice but not by words if we want to live in amity.”
He called for concerting efforts to reach a helping hand to those whose circumstances forced them to leave their homes and lands, stressing the importance of dialogue to restore peace in this country.
