His Holiness Ignatius Aphrem II gave an intervention at Panel 10 in the international Conference organized by the Community of Sant’ Egidio in Tirana, Albania, entitled “Peace is Always Possible”. The Panel was about “Envisioning Peace: Religion and Politics Discuss their Roles”.
His Excellency Italian Foreign Minister Mr. Paolo Gentiloni contributed also to this panel. His Holiness spoke about the role of religious leaders in promoting peace, especially in the Middle East.
His Holiness Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II also gave a lecture on Sayfo in a special panel dedicated for the Syriac Genocide Sayfo, in the international Peace Conference “Peace is Always Possible”, organized by the community of Sant’Egidio in Tirana, Albania.
