USA: Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II of Anticioha and All-East – (Primate of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church), Mar Zachariah Nicholovos of North East America of the Malankara Church took part in the graduation ceremony of the St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, Yonkers, New York.
His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon of All America and Canada – Primate of the Orthodox Church in America -OCA) and Board Chairman of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary in New York was present for the occasion. A number of OCA, Armenian, Syriac, and Malankara Orthodox Prelates were in attendance.
The Syriac Orthodox Church established by St. Peter the Apostle and the Malankara Orthodox Church established by St. Thomas the Apostle, are sister Churches within the communion of the Oriental Orthodox Churches.
